A healthy mind-body connection is essential for maximizing your body’s potential to heal itself. I think we can and very often do hold onto pain for so much longer than we need to. The massage and bodywork methods I use are centered around the idea of down-regulating the body’s nervous system so that muscles can be coached back into optimal functioning condition (never forced).
Exploring our difficult emotions is an added way of down-regulating the nervous system and can contribute vastly to improving our overall health and well-being.
